Daniel BrodskyThe Brodsky Organization

Thanks for making this City better.

Michael BloombergMayor of New York City

Lehrer is a builder and I feel well with builders. I grew up myself in a family of builders and building was my real vocation: you probably can tell when you see what I do. So I love playing ping pong with Lehrer: he is a good and fast player.

Renzo PianoRenzo Piano Building Workshop, Genova, Italy

Lehrer’s fundamental mantra – the path to success frequently means balancing the tests of quality, cost, schedule, and constructability – is being fully realized in the construction of the Whitney Museum of American Art’s downtown project, slated to open in 2015. As an essential member of the building team, working with renowned architect Renzo Piano Building Workshop, Lehrer has assured the integrity and design excellence of this building, while creatively managing costs and schedules. This complex museum building project, with dramatic cantilevers and an 18,000 square foot column-free gallery, exterior galleries joined by outdoor stairways, webs of mechanical equipment and delicate skylights is a physical work of art. Lehrer is to building as Renzo Piano is to architecture. There is no equal.
